We celebrated Candlemas/Groundhoug's Day fairly low-key here this year. I always have far grander plans in my mind than what ends up in actuality. I'm hoping that future years will afford me do-overs of a great number of things - and more hands! I don't have any pictures to put up from yesterday just yet
because I'm holding off on uploading pictures until the new computer comes.
I'm hoping that will be sometime next week, but we haven't been able to order it yet so that's still anyone's best guess. We just ordered our new computer today and I'm still rather excited...my first new computer in
eight years. Who does that, right? It's another Dell which is a bit sad because I really did want a Mac, but in the end even though I'd like to pretend that price is no issue...it is. Perhaps eight years from now when we buy the next computer it'll be a Mac. As for the pictures? I finally got an external hard drive so I can continue to upload pictures to the computer. Happy days I tell you.
These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago when we tried out the bread recipe on the back of "
Sun Bread
." Let me save you the trouble...the recipe was not a hit in the slightest. I believe I ended up dumping the whole thing in the trash. We still read the book today, but I used a recipe for Challah I found online figuring it was very similar to what they were going for. J needed a bit of encouragement that this time would be different and boy was it ever!
As you can see we're all struggling with dry skin here - looking forward to Spring!
