Howard Zinn

Before I forget, which I'm sure I will, Rabbi Arthur Waskow had a fantastic post today over at Sojourners on Howard Zinn.  I think it's worth a read if you're interested.  I've never actually read Howard Zinn, but I'm off to request his book from the library.
